Well, this character hit me last night and I've been dying to draw him out but I ended up just going into a full reference! My apologies if it's a little dark, it was just working out really well with the shading and such.

So after Fae, I really loved the idea of dripping goo and such so I guess Raeth and Fae could be buddies or something? I don't know.

Anyway, the idea for Raeth is that he's a Raven made entirely out of ink and he's bound to a pocket watch that his master used to own before he passed away. His master was a writer, so it makes sense as to why his form would be the very ink his owner used to write with. The rest of him is mostly symbolic, how the watch represents time (also life and death because the watch will show you the time of your death) and the light coming his eyes and mouth represent the light that people speak of in their last moments. And the fact that he's a Raven which are associated with death.

I had a lot of fun with the reference and all the different blues and such, so I really hope you all will like him c:

With my laptop at full brightness it's only the bottom left paragraph which is a little difficult, but it's certainly not impossible to read!
