Those who have not submitted their character but has been put on the list will be contacted for update on their current contest status.


Introduction

This is basically what’s going to happen here. If you have an animal character that you have designed and developed, then you are eligible to enter this contest! By submitting a reference sheet, standard pose, etc. of your character of choice, your character will be added to a list and assigned to another deviant participating in this contest and vice versa. No two people will be paired together, as in an art trade; here you do not your character drawn for you by the same person you draw their character for. Pretty simple, right?
We do need to set down standards for what you’re going to be submitting…


Requirements

Your character must be an animal, creature, dragon, being, etc. of some kind. No human characters or anthromorphic beings are allowed here.
Reference sheets are highly recommended! It makes your character easier to draw! If you do submit a ref sheet, please make sure it includes a personality description and is in full color.
If you do not have a reference sheet for your character, a profile, standard pose is allowed. Please attach a bio of your character’s personality, though, into the artist’s comments of your submission.
Your picture MUST be in full color and full body.

Judges and Judging

Judges:








Judging will be based on a point scale, 30 being the highest and each category equaling in 10 points max/each.

Creativity-Use of composition, color, and form.
Originality-Standing out from the others.
Attention to Detail- Paying attention to the smallest details; accuracy.

The Entries begin now and all characters are due October 30. CHANGED TO NOVEMBER 7.
The actual contest will begin November 1 *subject to change depending on entries* and the Deadline is January 1.
